He's working on his standing. I think he stood all by himself today for 10 seconds or more. He gets the proudest look on his face when he does this. I think he may be walking by his 1st birthday for sure! He's gotten much better at crawling and has even started to figure out that he gets around a lot quicker and easier on his knees. But if he slips even the slightest bit he goes right back into "army" mode.
Jackson is also eating very well. Aside from his 3 bottles a day, he's been eating many fruits, veggies, and meats that Mommy and Daddy eat. He's had a taste of homemade chicken soup, sherried beef, pork chops and applesauce, and BROCCOLI!! He couldn't get enough of that green stuff! It's been fun sharing new foods with him.
We went to the pumpkin farm with Tamma (Tammy + Grandma = Tamma) and Auntie Jess. It was lots of fun! And of course we got lots of pictures! Please see below!
On Sundays we have been getting cozy on the couch and floor watching football and hanging out as a family. October 7th was a very sad day because our team, the Green Bay Packers LOST to the Chicago Bears. We were in mourning. However, they came back this past weekend and beat the Washington Redskins. Phew! I have decided it was because the previous weekend we were not all wearing our "usual" Packer attire. I was wearing my white Favre jersey and Jackson wasn't in his Packer colors. This week we got our clothing right and they won! WOO HOO!
Anyway, enough babbling! I know you just wanna see the kid! :)
