Happy 8 Months, Jackson James Wold!

Wow! Can you even believe our little guy is 8 months old? Time flies when you've got a little one. He pushes himself up from the floor to a sitting position quite well now. And, he just started pulling himself up to a stand in his crib the other day. Great! He's figured out another way to stall his naps and bedtime. He has been pulling himself up while holding on to my hands for a while, but recently, he's gotten a lot braver and tries to stand up on everything!
He's also learned that cabinets open and close. However, he hasn't quite figured out that he can open the doors all the way and start rummaging through what's inside. Time to install the cabinet locks!
We've been enjoying the cooler weather and take walks almost twice daily. I think Jax really enjoys beeing outside. This is great for me, because I enjoy the outdoors as well. I am already envisioning in my head taking him sledding down the mini hill by our house. He's gonna have a blast!
Another new thing of Jackson's is that he finally said the big "M" word! Ma-ma! Unfortunately, he only gets this out more when he is in a whiny mood, but, hey, that's what mama's are here for! Right? He says dada quite often and ni-ni is another one.
He's enjoying a lot more foods now. Yesterday he had a waffle (no syrup) for the first time. He loved that! We've given him mashed potatoes, noodles, toast, cottage cheese, bananas (cut up), and grapes. He liked them all! Such a good boy!
We've all been loving the start of football season! Rich, Jax, and I get comfy on the couch in the living room and watch all the games on Sunday! It's never too young to start molding a Quarterback. :) No, but seriously, the Green Bay Packers have been rockin'! And better yet, the Chicago Bears have been not so hot! HA! We got Jax up from his nap last week when Brett Favre (only one of the coolest and bestest quarterbacks to ever play football) tied the record for most touchdowns against Dan Marino. The season's just started! So he'll be passing that record up for sure and making his own! Jackson was very excited to see football history being made!
