It's OFFICIAL!! Jackson is 1 year old!

It seems like just yesterday I was updating the blog with newborn pictures of Jax. I cannot believe a full year has come and gone so quickly. It's been a fun and exciting first year with Jackson and Rich and I are looking forward to many, many more!

This past weekend we had his 1st Birthday party. Jackson is one lucky boy! He was surrounded by lots of family and friends who had come to share in the celebration of his big day! (Lots of pictures to come).

We've got some updates on our little guy. He is now walking all over the house. He definitely thinks he is hot stuff now. He's got 3 teeth that you can clearly see, two on the bottom, and 1 on the top. 3 more are currently working their way in on the top. Needless to say he has been a bit cranky at times because of this. But he's a tough guy.

We went to the doctor today and here are the stats:

He is 29 inches tall. (He's grown an inch since his last check up)

He weighs 21 lbs 5.6 oz (He's gained about 2 lbs)

The doctor says he looks healthy and is doing just great for his age. That's always good to hear. On the down side, he had to have 3 shots today. He was not happy after that. Poor little guy. But a few little fruit snacks made him feel all better.

This is Jackson on his real birthday! We couldn't let the day go by without singing to him and enjoying some more cake and ice cream. Only this time we didn't let it get so messy! :)
